TEXI is collaborating with Straligut Theatre for the project In-Box Live.
In-Box Live is many things in one: the finals, a festival, a showcase of emerging theater. 10 shows and 65 performances for grabs. All this is taking place in Siena, May 12 to 21.
In-Box is a national network made up of almost 50 theaters, dedicated to the promotion of emerging contemporary theater.
It operates mainly through two calls: select shows of value and makes them "circuited" which in slang means "to talk", which for a theatrical means "work." In 2016, 450 companies participated.
The 2016 edition of In-Box Live has grown even (hosted 10 companies) and is doubled, accepting both the 6 finalists of In-Box Blue (prose) and the 4 In-Box Green (children's theater). The event, organized by Straligut Theatre with the support of the City of Siena and the Foundation Toscana Spettacolo Onlus, is taking place until May 21 in Siena, at the prestigious Teatro dei Rozzi and other public places.
In-Box Live is a race, because it shows the 10 finalists are competing for a total of 65 replies offered as prizes by In-Box, is a showcase that houses the city and offers some of the best reality of Italian theater scene, is a fair market for operators and professionals of the sector.
The program is enriched by the winner of the show in 2015, "The Sleepless" by Lab121 and residences works In-Box 2015: "Little Europe" of VicoQuartoMazzini and "The Minotaur" by Zaches Theatre.
On the occasion of this event we TEXI selected both a large number of accommodation facilities (hotels, bed and breakfasts, villas, residences) to Siena and surroundings, ideal for the hospitality of the event participants (individuals, couples, families or groups), both of restaurants based on typical Sienese dishes.
